Ritz Carlton’s New Waterfront Restaurant: LightKeepers

Key Biscayne, Miami, Neighborhoods

Just about twenty minutes south of Downtown Miami, you will find Ritz Carlton’s new waterfront restaurant, on the island of Key Biscayne. When you think of Ritz Carlton, you may think ohh, so fancy. And while yes, it is, Lightkeepers is a casually elegant restaurant, with a goal to be more accessible price-wise, and laid back. Lightkeepers offers a $25 bottomless brunch on Saturdays, so naturally, being the bruncher as I am, I gladly accepted their inviation to sample their menu items.

Back dining room area.

Bar area. Lightkeepers offers happy hour at the bar and lounge area, everyday from 5PM-8PM. They offer $5-$8 local craft beers, crafted cocktails, and wines. As well as $5-$8 bar bites.

Raw bar area.

Their Saturday brunch menu. Brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday.

Lightkeepers Exexcutive Chef: Raul A. Del Pozo.

We started things off with this Loggerhead Lavender  and Bloody Mary.

The Keeper’s Wife Biscuits are definitely something special! A wonderful marriage between bacon and honey glaze. Yes!

The Beets + Burrata was very fresh, delicious, and colorful to eat.

Lobster Mac + Cheese: creamy, crumbly, and jsut simply good!

Chicken + Waffles – always a great combo!

Later, we polished things off with this coconut dessert, beignets, and cocktails.

Major lover of a good old fashioned. I really enjoyed this smoked old fashioned.

Mr. Thompson’s Smoked Old Fashioned and The Tequesta (Gracias a Dios Mezcal, Three Chiles Syrup, Hand Pressed Grapefruit Juice)

After drinks and dessert, we took a quick stroll outside by the pool (several pools) area. The outside area is huge with several pools, bars, lounges, and a beach.

Add The Lightkeeper’s restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton to your brunch list! Check them out in Key Biscayne at:
