The best way to experience a city is to walk it. So, when Miami Culinary Tours invited me to experience their newly launched Miami Design District Art Installation & Food Tour, I decided to be like a tourist for a day, to sample food at different Miami Design District restaurants, while also enjoying the art installations.
Their Miami Design District Tour is offered on Saturdays as a dinner tour from 5pm-7:30pm, and as a lunch tour on Sundays, from 12:15pm-2:45pm. We attended the dinner tour.
Highlights from our tour:
First Stop: Roch Market
The tour started off at Roch Market – a contemporary food hall with multiple vendors featuring different types of cuisines. While there, we sampled:
Next stop: Abacco Wines
Next Stop: Estefan Kitchen
Next Stop: MadLab
Next Stop: La Pollita
Last Stop: Aubi & Ramsa
In between stuffing our faces, the architecture and art installations were delightful to see:
The Miami Design District Food and Art Tour with Miami Culinary Tours was an enjoyable way to spend an evening. If you are visiting Miami, or would like to play a tourist for a day, check out their food tours. They also offers food tours of Little Havana, Wynwood, and Miami Beach.
Enjoy!
