It was a gorgeous day in Miami Beach. A perfect day to enjoy Fashion for Breakfast series at Cecconi’s Restaurant, located in the courtyard of Soho Beach House. Fashionistas gathered to hear Cameron Silver — the Fashion Director of the H by Halston and H Halston brands speak about fashion and his book, Decades: A Century of Fashion.

While waiting for Cameron Silver to arrive, I shared bites and laughs with Prada RTW Manager, Amelia Perea.

Their scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and toast was delicious!

And disappeared very quickly!

Tara Solomon introduced Cameron Silver and set the mood for a very fun, engaging, and entertaining Fashion for Breakfast series.

There were also visually appealing / interesting people that I just have to share with you…

Cameron Silver was very down to earth and blunt. And his love for vintage fashion was very infectious. The one message that I loved hearing from Cameron is that everyone, regardless of body type, can be sexy. And that the number one aspect to pay attention to is your body type, then dress for that respective era! I really appreciated him expressing that–we are all beautiful!

If you love fashion, appreciate the history of fashion, or would just love to learn more, I highly recommend his Decades: A Century of Fashion book. Not only is it visually appealing, it is also very educational to read about the evolution of fashion, fashion icons, and how past fashion influences today’s fashions trends.
