Recently, I visited the Vagabond Hotel in the Mimo Historic District. Have you been there? I attended an event thrown by A Small World – an international social club. If you love to travel, the ability to attend exclusive events, and to meet professional people and fellow philanthropists, you’ll love A Small World. Check them out here.
Built in the 1950s, The Vagabond Hotel was a favorite hangout spot for Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra. Wanting to be true to their retro vibe, I put together a retro inspired polka dot halter dress, white retro sunglasses, (similar), white wedges, with a pearl necklace and pearl bracelet. Take a look…
Outfit Details: Polka dot halter dress, White wedge sandals, black quilted crossbody bag, white retro sunglasses, pearl necklace and pearl bracelet.

And now time for the party (in photos)!
Host of the event, Montserrat Franco and Voga Italia Territory Manager. We laughed when we met, because her name is Montserrat, and I am from the Caribbean island, Montserrat.
We did not eat at the restaurant, but we browsed around the Vagabond Kitchen & Bar, and was quite entertained by Fernando.
Having fun with my dress and friend, Visho at the Vagabond Hotel’s iconic mermaid and dolphin tiled pool (the artwork is not pictured here, but it is a must-see)! You can view Vagabond’s mermaid tiled pool here.
If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw this Marilyn Monroe-like photo weeks ago!
I had a fun time with A Small World at the Vagabond Hotel. Next time, I’ll have to go back to try the Vagabond Kitchen & Bar.
