What kind of apartment does $1000 get you in Miami?

What does $1000 rent get you in Miami’s competitive rental market? Let’s face it. The cost of living in Miami is high. But can you get a good apartment for $1000 in the Miami area? Check out these five Craigslist rental listings. I would love to hear your reactions in the comments section.

2. $950 in Miami

3. $1050 in South Beach

4. $950 in North Miami

This one bedroom is located within a gated community with pool, wood floors, large walk-in closet and stainless steel appliances.

With an ocean view as breathtaking as this, they mean $1000 a week right?

    Looks like it’s actually quite comparable to South Florida. Several really cute places! That one for $950 is adorable! Although, I’m leery of Craig’s List. Just be careful when visiting the rentals. Be sure to do your research and make sure the agents are legit!

    I want that ocean view! Well, at least according to craigslist, $1000 gets you a nice apartment 🙂

    $1000 will get you a closet on the beach. That’s gotta be per week!! Lol. You can find stuff for that price, you just might end up in an area that’s not so great….

    I used to rent a 1br apartment near Dadeland for $860 (and I loved it!), but within 2 years rent went up to $1200 for the same size unit!

      Yes, it’s crazy how rent has spiked in past few years!
