EVEN Hotel Miami Airport Review: IHG Wellness Hotel

Hotels, Lifestyle, Miami

I recently enjoyed a staycation at the new EVEN Hotel at the Miami Airport location.

What is an EVEN Hotel?

I really love the EVEN Hotel concept. Their brand is based around the philosophy of helping travelers maintain a balanced wellness lifestyle – even while you travel.

Their big focus is to help you ‘keep active, eat well, rest easy and accomplish more’.

Presently, there are EVEN hotels located in Miami, Sarasota, Times Square South NYC, Midtown East NYC, Brooklyn, Omaha (Nebraska), Rockville (Maryland), Norwalk (Connecticut), Eugene (Oregon), and Seattle (Washington).

All rooms are equipped with fitness zones that encourage easy access to exercise, the staff are promoted as wellness savvy and there are an array of healthy natural and delicious food and beverage options to choose from.

I stayed at The Miami Airport location which as you guessed is conveniently located near the Miami International Airport – and definitely not your typical airport hotel.

The EVEN Miami Airport hotel is centrally located, so most attractions such as the American Airlines Arena, Bayside Marketplace, Marlins Park and more are all within minutes from the hotel.

The hotel also offers complimentary airport shuttle service 24/7.

Check In

I stopped to take a quick photo with one of their managers – Keisha. She was such a delight!

The check in area was clean and neat. Check in was easy and quick. The staff were friendly and I was excited to see my Wellness Deluxe Room .

My Room

In-room Fitness Training Zone includes everything from a yoga mat and block, a stediball, foam roller and disinfectant wipes. There is also an EVEN Hotels Exercise Guide and instructional videos you can watch on the TV.

The Restaurant: Cork & Kale

Their restaurant, Cork and Kale, offers fresh and healthy options.

Flatiron Steak topped with chimchurri sauce served with sauteed spinach and kale, and herb roasted fingerling potatoes
Shrimp and polenta served in a lemon, garlic and shallot pan sauce, with a light ricotta polenta, tomato, basil and lemon oil.
Flourless chocolate cake topped with fresh berries, whipped cream, and kosher salt.
Lemon Panna Cotta, topped with fresh berries and raspberry sauce.
The bartender / server, Larry was so much fun to interact with!

The Pool

The day I visited Even Hotel, it was very rainy. This photo does not do the pool justice as it was a gloomy day. Still, I wanted to show you their pool, so you have an idea of what to expect.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at EVEN Hotel Miami – Airport!

I definitely recommend EVEN Hotel Miami – Airport to not only health-conscious travelers, but also to any traveler who is looking for a comfortable, affordable stay, delicious food and friendly staff.

Check them out for yourself at EVEN Hotel Miami – Airport.
