Lee, Peruvian Consul in Miami Martha Lizarraga Picciotti, Mayor of Boca Raton Scott Singer, Executive Director of Boca Raton Museum of Art Irvin Lippman, and many more!

Miami nightlife has been largely quiet for the past few months due to covid-19 – but there have been some recent signs of life.

Technically, Miami nightclubs can open at 50% capacity under an ordered issued Sept. 25 by Gov. Ron DeSantis. Some clubs have reopened with coronavirus precautions in place, including Do Not Sit, Space Miami, Treehouse, Mr Jones, and Nikki Beach.

Also, a local mask ordinance requires people to keep their faces covered except while eating and drinking — though the governor has barred municipalities from collecting fines for violations.

“We take a more cautious approach here in Miami-Dade,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez said recently. He warned: “We are still not out of the woods.”

When at full health, Miami and South Beach feature a huge variety of different nightlife options. You’ve got Vegas style megaclubs like Liv, e11even, and Story featuring top EDM DJs, champagne showers and bottle service. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s clubs like Space and Do Not Sit which cater to a less extravagant, music-centric audience. If you’re looking for hip hop clubs – Rockwell or Mr Jones might be more your speed. Daytime parties include Nikki Beach and Hyde Beach.
