Dinner Review of Lure Fish Bar, Miami Beach

The Restaurant

You’ll find Lure Fish Bar inside the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Lure Fishbar offers a raw oyster bar, top notch sushi, and nautical themed craft cocktails.

The Food

We started off the night with craft cocktails and enoyed several rounds of food from appetizers, entrees and dessert.

We had East Coast and West Coast Oysters

Deviled eggs (American, Chives) and Crispy Rice Cakes (Spicy Tuna Tartare, Crispy Nori, Wasabi Aioli)

Sushi Combination Plate with Spicy Tuna, Yellowtail, and Jalapeno Roll, Sashimi, and Tuna Nigiri.

Seared Sea Diver Sea Scallops

Grilled Whole Durade – white Mediterranean Fish (deboned), Grilled Lemon, Watercress, Agrodolce

We ended the evening with this decadent dessert!

Final Verdict

We had a wonderful time at Lure Fish Bar! The food, ambiance and service were great. It’s a cool spot for both happy hour, or an intimate romantic dinner.

After closing in May 2016, BLT Steak is now open in its new home – The Iberostar Berkeley Hotel, in South Beach. BLT is a modern American steakhouse, known for some of the best popovers, finest cuts of USDA Prime Certified Angus beef, and seafood, in Miami. New additions to the menu include Steak Tartare Tacos, Snapper Crudo, Uni Toast, Heirloom Tomato and Beets Salad and Foie Gras Empanadas.

OSME Perfumery, Wynwood Arcade

There’s a brand new perfumery in Wynwood. The grand opening is happening this week! Read for more details.

The OSME Perfumery is hosting a Grand Opening at The Wynwood Arcade on Thursday, April 27th from 6-8pm with performances by Millionyoung and DJ sets by Jolt Radio DJ’s.

Osme is the destination perfumery and apothecary for all fragrance lovers in South Florida. Their perfumery curates liquid art, scented décor, and skin line products. What makes OSME different from the rest of the perfume stores is that every perfume that they carry has a very particular story. For example they carry Eight & Bob, the fragrance worn by JFK. Another notable name is Galimard, the French perfume house that made the fragrances for Napoleon and the French court. They also carry a line of perfumes inspired in illegal substances such as hashish and absinthe, and a line inspired on wine. The store itself is decorated in a minimalist old Parisian vibe, taking you away from Wynwood for a few moments while there.

Oceans234 Restaurant’s New Menu, Deerfield Beach

Calling all seafood and waterfront restaurant lovers! Have you checked out Ocean’s 234 new menu? Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Ocean 234, and it’s definitely worth a visit. Let’s take a look inside, shall we?

While dining, we took in the wonderful view of the beach:

Things started off with this absolutely delicious Moscow Mule ( I had three – dont judge!). It’s called the Deep Eddy Mules, and so refreshing!

Chicken Tostadas

Definitely one of my favorite dishes – the Tuna Poke. It’s a fresh and tasty combination of avocado, cucumber, mango, macadamia and crispy plantain. Yes!

Grilled Octopus and Chorizo -absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked

Divers Scallops

Lobster Mac n Cheese – so creamy and sooo good!

Favorite dessert was the Chocolate Trilogy. The menu description reads: Oreos baked between chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge brownie, blackberry carbernet sorbet and chocolate ganache. Yum!

If you love great seafood in an upscale dining setting by the seaside (who doesn’t/?), do yourself a favor and visit Oceans234. This is definitely a wonderful option for Valentine’s Day! Their menu is expansive and includes a wide variety of appetizers, sushi, seafood entrees, and cocktails, with a side of ocean view. They are located 234 North Oceans Boulevard in Deerfield Beach.
