Venice Magazine and British Airways Cover Party

Guess what? British Airways will begin flying from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to London’s Gatwick airport (LGW) starting July 6th, 2017. This is exciting news for South Florida travelers, as British Airways will fly five times a week to Fort Lauderdale from London Gatwick’s airport (and vice versa). This service will offer direct flights to and from both destinations.  In celebration of this news, Venice Magazine held their Spring Cover Party in collaboration with British Airways at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Traveling to Trinidad

I’m traveling to Trinidad for a few days, and can’t wait to share my experience with you. When most people think of Trinidad, they think of Trinidad Carnival. That time has passed for the year. Instead, I’m going for a different type of trip – to explore Trinidad beyond carnival. My plan is to visit some historical sites, Maracas Bay, eat the world famous shark and bait and to do some sightseeing.

I’ll be sure to fill you in. In the mean time, follow me on Instagram,Twitter, and Facebook . See you there!

A Visit to Butterfly World

Have you ever been to Butterfly World? Butterfly World is a three-acre butterfly park, and described as the largest in the world, by the owner, Ronald Boender. It’s about a 40-50 minute drive from Miami, and definitely worth a visit. Butterfly World is located in Coconut Creek, near Fort Lauderdale in the Tradewinds Park. While at Tradewinds park, not only can you enjoy a world of butterflies, but also nature and jogging trails, miniature golf, horseback riding, and more.
