Hi! It’s a brand new week, and I am happy to share a new restaurant to add to your list. Elia Gourmet is a casual cafe and restaurant located in Downtown Miami and offers fresh, made-from-scratch Mediterranean food. Elia Gourmet prides itself in only serving fresh ingredients that are delivered daily. As a result, they do not have a microwave, or freezer in the kitchen!
Saturday, was so much fun! It started out with an enjoyable event at The Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach with Coppertone and Simply Stylist (click here to read). And was immediately followed with a day of boating and lunch at Shuckers Bar & Grill.
I woke up Easter morning looking forward to Sunday brunch at Nikki Beach. Their brunch is inspired by one of my favorite childhood tales – Alice in Wonderland. I heard descriptions of an adult tea party, queen of hearts inspired tables, music, and great food, so naturally I was not going to miss this party.
I never need an excuse to devour a grilled cheese sandwich. And what better day than today -National Grilled Cheese Day (April 12)! This past Sunday, I was invited to Grand Lux Cafe for brunch. I heard good things about Grand Lux’s mouthwatering Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and was eager to try it. It’s made with slow roasted short rib, caramelized and pickled onions, arugula and melted cheese on grilled country bread, so it was definitely on my to-eat-list.
Thirty-five wines (red and white), a waterfront view, rounds of appetizers, and meeting new people. Yes! This is my type of party. I was invited to an exclusive preview of Rusty Pelican’s soon-to-be-released wine program: Taste with the Masters.
Have you been to the River Yacht Club as yet? If not, you need to…go! I had the pleasure of attending a sneak preview of their new Japanese restaurant opening on Friday, March 24th. It was definitely a memorable experience, and I’m excited to share my experience with you.
On Wednesday night, I had the most flavorful night out with friends and fellow bloggers. We were invited for a special tasting at the brand new authentic poke and bao restaurant, and I must say, I was blown away by the freshness and flavor of each dish. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by this beautiful and colorful mural:
Calling all seafood and waterfront restaurant lovers! Have you checked out Ocean’s 234 new menu? Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Ocean 234, and it’s definitely worth a visit. Let’s take a look inside, shall we?
Saturday, I had a fantastic night out with the Friends of New World Symphony. I arrived early to take photos at the Adrienne Arsht Center / Knight Concert Hall.
