My Saturday started off with a fabulous Miami pop-up with Simply Stylist and Coppertone at Nobu Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach. Bloggers / Influencers were invited to experience Coppertone’s Clearly Sheer Whipped Sunscreen. As someone who is often in the sun, whether at the beach, boating, or other outdoor activities, I was eager to try Coppertone’s new sunscreen.
What? A ski-themed cocktail bash at the beach? Yes, I know that it sounds like an oxymoron, but hear me out! Also keep reading for an exclusive Aprés at the Beach 10% discount for Join Me in Miami readers.

Did you know that May 1st is the beginning of Miami Museum Month? Miami Museum Month is a great opportunity to go museum hopping in Miami, and to take advantage of the city’s unique cultural scene. This week, I have an event recommendation from the The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in North Miami.

I woke up Easter morning looking forward to Sunday brunch at Nikki Beach. Their brunch is inspired by one of my favorite childhood tales – Alice in Wonderland. So excited to see Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater for their opening night on Thursday, February 23rd! Have you got your tickets yet? Tickets start at $29!
Saturday, I had a fantastic night out with the Friends of New World Symphony. I arrived early to take photos at the Adrienne Arsht Center / Knight Concert Hall.
If you’re looking for something to do in Miami this weekend, I have a great suggestion for you! Head over to the Miami-Dade County Fair Lantern Light Festival and experience a night of spectacular lights and handmade, massive lanterns in many colors, shapes, and themes. Great for date night or family night with the kids. The Lantern Light Festival is a Chinese tradition dating back to over 2000 years ago, and marks the return of Spring. The Chinese lanterns symbolize the future and return of family.
